Terms of usefree, and the prices stay here

Servo Map shows fuel prices from Australian government price reporting schemes on its website, its iPhone app and its Android app. Servo Map is free and has no advertising. By using Servo Map you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The prices come from each state's and territory's own price reporting scheme. The About page names each one. Each scheme's licence requires Servo Map to credit it, and Servo Map does so beside the prices and on its data sources page.

Servo Map is not endorsed by, and does not speak for, any government or any fuel retailer.

Retailers report prices to each scheme, and a price can be late, wrong or missing. Servo Map shows prices as they are reported and does not check them at the pump. Always check the price at the pump before you fill up.

Queensland's licence also requires Servo Map to say that the State of Queensland gives no warranty about its data and accepts no liability for it.

You may use Servo Map to find and compare prices for yourself. You may not copy, scrape, collect, republish, redistribute or sell the fuel price data Servo Map shows, from the website, the apps or the Servo Map API, or use it for direct marketing, without our written permission. The schemes' licences do not let Servo Map pass their data on, so we cannot give that permission for their prices.

The Servo Map API (api.servo-map.com) serves Servo Map's own website and apps. It is not a public data service, and automated or bulk access to it is not allowed.

An account is optional. You can delete it, and everything stored with it, at any time in the app's settings. The Privacy page says what is stored and why.

Servo Map may change, pause or stop any part of the service, and may change these terms. When the terms change, the date at the top changes too. Using Servo Map after that means you accept the new terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, Servo Map is provided as is, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from relying on a price it shows.

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
